Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
There are things that benefit us in this life and things that benefit us in
the aakhira(the eternal afterlife). And among the deeds that would be
benefit us in the afterlife are the obligatory and nafil acts of worship
that Allah (S.W.T) had bestowed upon us.
Prayer is one of the five pillars of Islam and it is an obligatory act of
worship on all of us muslims.
Now, how many of us do really know to pray? and how many are there
among our friends, colleagues and family members who know to pray?
I know many of my friends who pray regularly, but when i asked them
torecite Surah Al Fatiha, they just murmur and they do not know it.
They do not know what to recite in ruku, in sujood & in tashahhud.
Without reciting these how will their prayer be valid?
Many of them think it is too late for now to learn or ask their friends
about it so that they can memorize it. They are hesitant and shy to
ask, they think that others will make fun of them.
I hope many of you have friends like those of whom i have, speak to
them in private and teach them the basics of Prayer (Salaah).
Insha Allah they will get benefitted and in turn Insha Allah you also will
be benefitted for teaching them how to pray and the dua &
suupplications that are to be recited during the prayer.
And for those who do not know how to pray and what dua &
supplications to make while praying, please do not be shy, there are
many others who are like you. Speak to your close friend whom you
can trust and learn to pray in the proper manner, by doing this Insha
Allah your Imaan will increase and you will find tranquility in your prayer.
